Agreement to these terms
By using Informeek at informeek.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the site.
What we publish
Informeek publishes articles and guides across technology, business, sport, travel, entertainment and general interest topics, alongside a set of free tools that run in your browser.
We write our articles to be accurate and we correct them when we find they are wrong. Even so, the content is general information, not professional advice. It may become out of date, and it may not apply to your particular situation.
Using the tools
The tools on this site — the invoice, receipt and quote generators, the QR code generators and the calculators — run entirely in your own browser. The information you type into them is processed on your device and is not transmitted to us or stored on our servers.
Because of that, we cannot recover anything you create. Download or save your own copy. We provide these tools as they are, without any warranty that a result will be correct, complete or suitable for a legal, financial or tax purpose. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.
Intellectual property
The articles, images, design and code on this site belong to Informeek or to those we have licensed them from, unless stated otherwise.
You may read, print and share our pages for personal, non-commercial use, and you may quote us with clear attribution and a link. You may not republish our articles in full, sell them, or use them to train a commercial model without our written permission.
Documents you generate with our tools are yours. We claim nothing in them.
Acceptable use
Please do not use this site to break the law, to attempt to gain access to systems or data you are not entitled to, to scrape it in a way that degrades it for other people, or to post comments that are unlawful, abusive or that exist only to place links. Comments are read by a person before they appear.
Advertising and third parties
This site may display advertising, including advertising served by Google. Advertisers and their partners may use cookies to select and measure ads; how that works, and how you can control it, is set out in our privacy policy.
We sometimes link to other websites. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their handling of your data.
Limitation of liability
The site and its tools are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent the law allows, Informeek is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from anything you relied on here, or from the site being unavailable.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not permit it to be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
