A thin laptop running a card at 80W will trail a thicker one running the same card at 115W, and the gap is large enough to matter in real games. Cooling is the variable, not the sticker.

The TUF line has always been about surviving being carried around, and that is the right frame here. If the laptop is going to be your only machine, the larger screen and the build are worth more than the last few frames per second.

Ask what the machine does when you are not gaming. If the answer is “sits on a desk and runs games”, take the Lenovo and the frame rates.
